As Sydney’s leading office removalist, our approach to insurance is to have the best, but to do everything we can to ensure we don’t use it.

Our first line of risk management is to ensure that every move is successful, which means meticulous planning, rigorous training, depth of knowledge, and all the advantages of our 25+ years of office moving experience. We undertake 10,000 relocations annually and yet, despite the number of moves, we have an outstanding track record of damage-free moves.

Storage and Transit Insurance

We can provide insurance to cover your goods while they are in transit and if they are stored with us. We have various options available to you, so please discuss this with your Business Move Manager. You are not obligated to use our insurance, but our policy is tailored to our industry and is the best on the market.

Insuring Your Goods

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your goods, please be aware that they may be at risk due to events beyond our control. We recommend that you consider contents insurance, storage and transit insurance to protect your items.

Professional insurance

Zoom Removals is fully insured — Public Liability, Transit Insurance and Workers Compensation are included in our rates. Be aware that our liability is limited, so if you have specific requirements beyond that, you will need to take out relevant insurance to make sure you are covered. All of our relocations follow the recommendations of the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS). We value your and our employees’ safety at all times, without compromise.

All-Inclusive Insurance Premium

The premium that you pay for your Zoom insurance policy is all-inclusive, so there are no hidden or unexpected costs involved.

Points to note:

As accredited members of the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA), we are authorised, and our staff are certified to provide you with moving insurance.
It is important to understand that if you do not take out an insurance policy with Zoom Removals, you are not automatically covered.
It is your decision as to what items you insure and to what value you insure them. We are not able, legally, to advise you in this regard.
When you take out an insurance policy, the Product Disclosure Statement that comes with the policy will summarise your coverage.
You may have an existing policy to cover your business, but we cannot comment on whether it would be sufficient. Our insurance is customised for the moving and storage industry. We are able to offer a comprehensive insurance policy if you wish.
